	TIPS ON CORRECT BUYING
>>	Thickness of pipes are given in above table. St anded length of pipes up to 75 mm and conduit pipes should be 4M - +10mm. Pipes from 90 mm to 315 mm,length should be 6MM-+15mm. In case of Guitar and Down Pipes length should be 12feet +- 10mm(3/8”)fittings are sold by Nos.

>>	uPVC pipes should conform to SLS 147 for drinking water transportation. Drainage pipes, down pipes, Irrigation Pipes or conduit pipes should not be used for drinking water connections. ANTON Pipes are suitable for transporting water as per WHO “Guidelines for drinking water quality Vo.1, Recommendations Geneva, 1993.”Ensure that your pipe has SLS147 marked on it.

>>	uPVC pressure fittings should conform to SLS659. Thickness of fittings is critical to maintain pressure. ANTON fittings are rated to work at 10 bar continuous pressure. Thickness of fittings could be checked using caliper. The thread on fittings should be to SLS 282.
>>	Sewerage and Drainage fittings should conform to SLS 1210:2001 and ISO 265/1 standards. Incorrect fittings will clog sewer and other waste. Rubber ring fittings are recommended to allow for expansions and easy replacements.

>>	Use of fittings could be reduced if well planned. For example using a faucet Tee will eliminate use of Tee and Faucet Socket. Turbulence flow created by too many fittings could be overcome.

>>	Before covering the pipe line please carry out a pressure test. This is a must and it will ensure that your pipe system is free of leaks and will work for many years without any problem.

>>	Solvent cement should not be used in excess but as per our instructions. Refer page30. Correct bonding will take place after 10 minutes. Pipe line should be rested at least 2 hrs. for every atmosphere of pressure(Eg:10 bar pressure pipe system to be rested for 2 hrs. before operation)

>>	Anton gutters are UV stabilized to reduce the aging. Beware of imitation gutter fittings made out of low quality material, available in the market. Beware of products that have not been in the market for long and lack experience in product knowledge.
